Along with the services outlined above we offer the ability to host your site on our own server. A web server is simply a managed computer that is constantly connected to the internet. Border Websites' web server is located in Manchester in a fully maintained and monitored suite with qualified engineers on stand-by, 24/7. If you want to design your own site, it can still be hosted on our web server at a very reasonable cost.

When you register your domain name with Border Websites you will get e-mail forwarding or a catch all (anyname@yourdom.com) POP3 account. Domains are valid for 24 months from the date of registration. You will be able to check renewals due in the support centre.
Search Engine Optimisation
Once you have registered your domain name, chosen your hosting package, designed and uploaded your site, it is time to submit it to all the major search engines. With careful consideration to the use of headings, links and meta tags, I can optimise your pages for your chosen keyword phrases. With regular monitoring and page tweaking it is possible to gain the highest possible rankings on search engines.
